You’re taking a step towards your quit by learning more about the QuitAid Study. QuitAid is a research project funded by the National Cancer Institute to help rural smokers quit smoking. This study will be delivered in partnership with community pharmacies throughout Appalachia.
QuitAid helps prepare you for your quit attempt.
This study involves different combinations of evidence-based counseling, text messaging, and quit smoking medications provided at no cost to you.
Quit Strategy
This study involves possible combinations of counseling, text messaging, and quit smoking mediations based on proven science.
Your Time Commitment
Time commitment will vary depending on which combination of treatment you are assigned. QuitAid is a 6-month study and treatment can span 4 to 8 weeks.
